Jammu University had invited applications from eligible candidates for its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course in non government college for the academic year 2015-16. The candidates applying for the course must have Bachelors/Masters degree with aggregate 50% marks. For students belonging to SC and ST, the aggregate marks must be 45% in the department of Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce or Music and Fine Arts from University of Jammu.
Jammu University was established in the year 1969 and it is located in Jammu Tawi. Other campuses belonging to this University includes Bhaderwah campus, Kathua campus, Kishtwar campus, Poonch campus, Ramnagar campus, Udhampur campus, Doda campus and Reasi campus. Admission to the B.Ed course would be made by the admission committee of the concerned college after getting the approval of the Director, College Development Council, University of Jammu. Academic merit of the qualifying exam would form the basis of admission and the admission would be done via online counselling process.
Application fee of Rs. 1650 must be paid and candidates would have to apply online for the admission. 9 August would be the last day for application form submissions while 10 August being the last day for depositing the fees.
