India Post Payments Bank, a recently incorporated public limited company plans to recruit about 3500 personnel in the next few months and under that process, it started the recruitment process back in October for more than 1700 vacancies. Under this recruitment drive, about 1060 vacancies are for officer scale II & III and 650 vacancies under officer scale-I cadre. The Bank recruitment cell is yet to announce the details about exam date and admit card for officer scale-I and other cadres yet.
As IPPB hasn’t made the data public about the exam’s scale as to how many candidates have applied for it’s recruitment, it’s hard to say anything solid on that topic. Nonetheless, for a exam of this level, it’s suffice to say that more than a million aspirants will be testing their fate.
Candidates vying for scale II & III posts will be selected on the basis of their performance in online exam (only single exam, no prelims and mains) and then Group Discussion-Interview round. For more details of selection process, exam pattern or syllabus, go check the official notification.
The test duration will be 120 minutes for this 17 December exam and a total of 200 questions will be asked for maximum 200 marks.
The exam will be consisting of four sections, namely Reasoning (50 questions-50 marks), English Language (40 questions- 40 marks), General Financial Awareness with special reference to banking (60 questions- 60 marks), and quantitative aptitude (50 questions- 50 marks).
Notably, India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) admit card for 2016 exam will only be made available online through indiapost.gov.in (official site) and no physical call letter/admit cards will be dispatched to candidates.
