IIFT result for the written test held on November 27 for admissions into MBA (IB) program have been announced by the Institute, while the remaining part of the selection procedure is to commence in January. The results were announced on 23rd December, as per which 1,973 candidates have been shortlisted. The Institute has published the list of the candidates with their roll number and name.
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) had conducted the written test as the first stage selection process for shortlisting deserving students for its MBA (International Business) program. Around 45 thousand aspirants had taken the exam and while the exam tested the candidates’ mental ability, the remaining selection processes would focus on written ability and communication skills.
The selection process of IIFT consists of a written exam, followed by written ability test (essay writing), group discussion and personal interview. While the written test was organized across 20 cities, the remaining processes will be held at only 7 cities – Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. The Institute is yet to announce the schedule of these activities as the shortlisted candidates will be informed about the same soon. As per the previous trends, the GD, PI and essay writing will be conducted in January, while the admission process will conclude in March.
IIFT will admit total 360 students in MBA (IB) program for the academic session 2017-19, which includes 220 seats at Delhi Campus and 140 seats at Kolkata Campus.
