Indian Institute of Foreign Trade will be conducting its entrance examination of IIFT 2016 for the batch 2017-19 on November 27, 2016. The examination will be conducted for MBA (International Business). The examination will be held for admission into two of its campuses, New Delhi and Kolkata. The timing for the examination is 10 am to 12 pm.
Students should remember that the last date for registration is 5th September 2016. The examination will be held in a pencil-paper mode. All the students should register on time so as to avoid the last minute rush. 5th September is the last date for Indian nationals and for NRIs, the last date is February 15th, 2017. The registration window will remain open for 50 days. There are two ways of obtaining the application form, either offline or online. One can either visit the campus and get it or one can get it by post.
All those who want to register online can do so by 5th September 2016. The registration fee for the General and the OBC category is Rs. 1,550. For SC/ST/PH, the registration fee is Rs. 775 and for NRIs, the registration fee is Rs. 4,500.
The examination will be held in 20 cities namely; Visakhapatnam, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jamshedpur, Bangalore, Kochi, Indore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Bhubaneshwar, Jaipur, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Allahabad, Lucknow, Kolkata.
All those students who have completed their bachelor degree or those who will be completing the same this year can apply. Those candidates need to have a proof of their completion of the degree. There is no age limit for the examination. Also, there need not be any prior work experience for this.
For the candidates who want to register online should visit the website of IIFT and get themselves registered. After that is done, candidates can easily get access to the form. The form should be filled, after which the print out has to be taken. Remember to attach your photograph and also sign the form. The form has to be sent to IIFT before the last date.
The pattern of the exam is – Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Quantitative Analysis.
