IIFT 2016 registration ending today: check what’s next

IIFT 2016: Just a reminder as today is the last day to register for Indian Institute of Foreign Trade’s entrance test which is set to be conducted on November 27, 2016.  IIFT had invited applications for admission to it’s 2017-2019 batch of Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses starting July.

IIFT As per IIFT’s official notification, the last date for obtaining application form and prospectus by cash or post, and for last date for online registrations and receipt of application forms is today i.e., September 5, 2016. And since IIFT hasn’t extended the deadline so far, folks, you only got one day now to send in your applications if you wish to. You can apply by visiting www.iift.ac.in today and check here for fee details.

However, this is only the last chance for Indian nationals as NRIs, children of NRIs and foreign nationals can submit their applications by February 15, 2017. Admission to foreign and NRI candidates are provided on the basis of GMAT scores.

With the application process coming to an end today, here’s what’s next.

Exam: IIFT 2016-2017 entrance test will be held on 27th November 2016 from 10 am to 12 noon. The test will be conducted across 20 major cities in the country. While the test city allocated to candidates will be from the choice of preferred cities as given in application, the test centre and rest of details will be provided to candidates in their admit cards.

The admit cards will be sent BY POST to all candidates. However, candidates can also download their admit cards from IIFT website after 15th November if they don’t receive the same by post.

The admission process is same for admission to both of IIFT’s Kolkata and New Delhi campuses. The candidates will be granted admission after clearing the process of selection that consists of written test, group discussion, interview and essay writing. The first stage is written test. Candidates who will take the written test and qualify the same, will be called for further rounds which will be held in January/February 2017.

Test Pattern: The written admission test will consist of multiple choice objective type questions, to be conducted in English language only. The questions in the exam will be covering English comprehension, General knowledge & awareness, Logical reasoning and quantitative analysis.
