IDBI Executive Admit Card Out, Exam on 6th Jan

The IDBI Bank Ltd. has issued the admit cards for its Executive recruitment exam scheduled to be held on January 6, 2017. The application process for filling around 500 Executive posts on contractual basis concluded on November 30 in which around 1 lakh candidates had participated. The candidates can access the IDBI Executive admit card from the Bank’s portal or from here.

The candidates going to take the exam in next 10 days are required to get hold of the admit card as it is the gate pass for entering the test venue. As the admit cards are available online, the candidates can fetch the respective admit card by logging into the portal using their registration number and date of birth. One would need to carry the admit card along with photo identity proof (1 original copy + 1 photocopy) to establish the identity at the time of the test. The admit card/call letter has blank space where the candidates will have to paste a recent passport size photograph.

Apart from the admit card and ID proof, the candidates are required to carry stationary items such as pencils and a ball point pen for the test. The paper sheet for doing rough work would be provided at the test venue. The biometric data (right thumb impression) will be captured at the test venue for future prospects.

The IDBI Executive recruitment exam will be conducted as an online test comprising of 150 objective type questions. The questions will be distributed equally among three sections: Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. Each question will be of 1 mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong response.

The candidates will be given 90 minutes (cumulative) for the test and hence one must use the time effectively. As the cut-offs may be applied either on each single test or on the total score, the candidates should try to secure minimum qualifying marks in each test and then excel for scoring maximum total score. The online exam will be held across 30 selected cities.

The appointment of Executive would be done initially for a period of 1 year as per the contract. The contract may be reviewed by the Bank for an extension on year-to-year basis for a further period of 2 years. On successful completion of a period of 3 years of contractual service, the Bank would appoint such candidates as Assistant Manager (grade ‘A’) through a selection process.
