The admit card for IBPS Specialist Officer prelims exam has been issued by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The application submission process for IBPS SO recruitment 2017 ended on November 27 and the preliminary exam is scheduled to be held in the last week of December. The applicants can download IBPS SO admit card 2017 from the official website www.ibps.in.

To download IBPS Specialist Officer admit card, the applicants are required to log in to the IBPS website using their registration number and date of birth/ password. Once generated, the candidates shall take the printout of the call letter and bring it with them on the exam date. The candidates can check important details like exam date, test timing, venue details from IBPS SO admit card 2018.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection had released the notification CRP SPL-VII on October 27 for the recruitment of Specialist Officers. There are total 1,315 posts of Specialist Officers in 20 participating organizations to be filled. The vacancies are distributed as 120 posts of IT Officer (Scale I), 875 posts of Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I), 30 posts of Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I), 60 posts of Law Officer (Scale I), 35 posts of HR/ Personnel Officer (Scale I) and 195 posts of Marketing Officer (Scale I).

IBPS SO Exam Pattern: IBPS SO examination will be two-staged: Preliminary and Main exam. The number of questions in the preliminary exam will be 150 for all posts, however, the exam pattern differs according to the post. Two sections are common: English Language section will have 50 questions (25 marks) and Reasoning will also have 50 questions (50 marks). For the post of Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari, the remaining 50 questions (50 marks) will be on General Awareness with special reference to Banking industry, while the questions will be on Quantitative Aptitude for rest of the posts.

Overall, the preliminary exam will carry maximum 125 marks and the time duration to solve the paper will be 2 hours. IBPS will hold SO Prelims exam on December 30 & 31 and only a limited number of candidates will be called for the Main exam, based on their performance in the prelims. IBPS SO main exam will be conducted on January 28, followed by Interview in February. The recruitment process will wrap up in April when the provisional allotments will be made.
