IBPS RRB admit card has been issued today by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The Institute will hold the preliminary examination for Group-A Officers (Scale-I) on September 9, 10 & 16 and the admit cards have been issued to all eligible applicants. The applicants are required to download IBPS admit card from the official website www.ibps.in to know their test venue and date.
IBPS had taken the online applications for Officer Scale 1 posts from July 24 to August 14. There are total 5,236 posts for Officer Scale-I mentioned in the initial notification issued by IBPS, apart from around 10 thousand vacancies for Officer Scale-II & III and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRB). As per its policies, IBPS had recently organized pre-examination training for IBPS RRB 2017 applicants at selected centers.
IBPS RRB admit card has been issued only for the preliminary exam of Scale I Officers as the exam is set to begin from September 9. According to the rules, the examination for Officer Scale-I & Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts is to be conducted in two phases: Preliminary and Main exam. The prelims for Officer Scale I posts will be completed by September 16, following which the prelims for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be conducted on September 17, 23 & 24.
The candidates who have applied for IBPS RRB 2017 can download the admit card through the official website of IBPS www.ibps.in by filling necessary details like Registration name and Password/date of birth. The admit card has been issued today and will remain available till the last day of exam, i.e. September 16.
The selection for the group (A) – Scale 1 officers will be held in 3 phases. The candidates who get qualified in the prelims examination will appear for the mains examination followed by interview process that will be conducted by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS.
The IBPS prelims exam of the Officers Scale-1 is divided into two sections: Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Both the sections will carry 40 marks, including 40 multiple choice questions in each section. The prelims exam carries total weightage of 80 marks. IBPS will decide on the cut-off marks in each section and based on it, a limited number of candidates will be asked to appear for the Main exam scheduled to be held on November 5.
Based on the main exam, the candidates will be selected for the interview process in the ratio of 1:3 to the number of posts. Marks obtained by the candidates will be not be displayed on the website prior to the interview process. The prelims online exam will be held in different regions across the nation. IBPS has all the right to allot the candidate to any centre, which he or she might not have opted for.
Candidates must carry all the necessary documents mentioned in by the IBPS while going for the exam and at the time of interview.
