IBPS RRB CWE V 2016: call letters released for pre-exam training on ibps.in

The call letter / admit card for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) pre-exam training for RRB CWE V aspirants has been released. The aspirants who had opted for the pre exam training can download their call letters from ibps.in now. However, the admit cards for the online examinations are yet to be released and are expected next week.

IBPS has just concluded the online application process for CWE RRB recruitment and today, on October 10, the Institute has invited the candidates to download the call letters for Pre-Exam training. It has been a tradition followed by IBPS to organise Pre-Examination training (PET) for the candidates belonging to reserved categories to make them comfortable with the online test process. IBPS conducts all of its exams through online mode.

IBPS had invited online applications to fill 16,560 posts of Group ‘A’ Officers & Group ‘B’ Office Assistants. The vacancies include 5,539 posts of Officer Scale-I, 1,999 Officer Scale-II (Generalist and Specialist) posts, 198 Officer Scale-III posts and 8,824 Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts. The preliminary exam (to be followed by main exam in December) would be conducted only for the candidates who have applied for Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant posts, while there would be only one online test for Officer Scale-II & III candidates which is tentatively scheduled to be held on December 11, 2016.

As IBPS would be conducting preliminary online exam only for Office Scale-I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts, only those candidates who have applied for these posts would be allowed to participate in the pre-exam training. Limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/Minority Communities/ Ex-Servicement/ Persons with Disabilities who have applied for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), while SC/ ST/ Minority Communities candidates who have applied for the post of Officer Scale-I would be imparted with the pre-exam training. The preliminary exam would be conducted across 209 cities, but the pre-exam training would be organised at only 49 cities.

These cities are : Banda, Warangal, Anantapur, Naharlagun (Papumpare), Guwahati, Ajmer, Raibareilly, Begusarai, Chhindwara, Guntur, Raipur, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Srinagar, Lucknow, Mandi, Jammu, Ranchi, Dharwad, Varanasi, Mysore, Mallapuram, Patna, Sangrur, Imphal, Jodhpur, Shillong, Udaipur, Aizawl, Kohima, Indore, Bhubaneshwar, Salem, Virudhunagar, Howrah, Moradabad, Puducherry, Ludhiana, Gorakhpur, Rohtak, Meerut, Rajkot, Bhatinda, Agartala, Bolangir, Coochbehar, Muzaffarpur, Dehradun and Nagpur.

It is also be mention here that only those candidates who had mentioned about the pre-exam training while filling the online application form would be eligible for pre-exam training. The call letters for pre-exam training have been made available online from today onwards and the last date to download the call letters is October 17.

The pre-exam training for Officer Scale-I candidates would be organised from October 17 to 22, while for Office Assistant candidates, the training would be provided from October 24 to 29. The preliminary examination of Office Scale-I posts would be held on November 5 & 6, followed by the preliminary exam for Office Assistant posts on November 12, 13 & 19.
