IBPS clerk admit card 2016 released for prelims exam on ibps.in

IBPS PO admit card 2016: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the admit card to candidates who will be appearing for clerk prelims exam 2016. IBPS clerk preliminary exams would be conducted online starting from November 26th, and on dates November 27th, December 3rd and December 4th.

Partial data suggests that IBPS had received under/over 24 lakh applications for recruitment process under clerk CWE VI 2016 notification. But call letters have been issued to eligible aspirants. A total of 19,243 posts are to be filled through this recruitment in 19 participating Banking organisations.

The facility to download admit cards opens today on November 10 and will close on December 4, as per official notice. The details of exam centre, date and time allocated to candidates will be mentioned in their respective admit cards. The admit card, along with an original identity proof and it’s photocopy is compulsory to carry on the exam day.

Exam pattern:

The online test will carry maximum 100 questions and 100 marks and will consist of 3 sections. Candidates will have duration of 1 hour to answer the questions.

  • English Language section will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Numerical Ability section carries 35 questions for 35 marks obtainable.
  • Reasoning Ability is to carry 35 questions for 35 marks too.

Candidates will have to secure marks above a cut-off marks set by IBPS to qualify preliminary to appear for mains.

The call letters can be download from here on ibps.in after entering the required details. The results of the prelims exams will be declared around mid-December as mains exam is scheduled to be held on December 31, 2016 and January 1, 2017. The shortlisted candidates will be issued mains call letters two weeks prior the examination.
