IBPS Admit Card (Pre-Exam Training) for Office Assistants released

IBPS has released the call letter of pre-examination training for Group-B Office Assistants (Multipurpose) posts. The Institute would organize the pre-exam training from October 24 to 29. Only the candidates belonging to reserved category candidates are allowed to appear for pre-exam training session which will be organized in 49 cities. IBPS is also organizing the pre-exam training for Officer Scale-I candidates for which the call letters were issued on October 10.

The Institute of Banking Selection Personnel had notified the recruitment process for filling 8,824 Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts in 54 Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in September and as much as 6 lakh candidates have applied for the posts. The selection process for Office Assistant post includes a preliminary examination, to be followed by the main exam. The successful candidates would be provisionally allotted to a RRB based on the marks obtained in the main exam as the final merit list would be prepared on the basis of the main examination.

The preliminary exam is scheduled to be held on November 12, 13 & 19 and the main exam would be conducted on December 18. As per the notified schedule, the results of the preliminary exam would be announced in December. As there would be no interviews for Office Assistant posts, the candidates would be provisionally allotted to a bank based on the performance in the main exam. The candidates would be allotted to the banks by February next year.

Only a limited number of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minority Communities/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities would be allowed to appear for pre-examination training. The candidates will be able to download the call letters for pre-exam training till October 24 by using their registration number and password/date of birth.
