The admit card for Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) clerk exam 2016 to a selected pool of candidates who are to appear for the written examination on November 13 were scheduled to be issued on November 7. Candidates may download their HSSC clerk admit cards from official website www.hssc.gov.in from November 7, as per official notice. Apart from November 13, Clerk exam would also be organised on November 20 & 27 and December 4 & 11.
HSSC has received well around 1 million applications for mere 6,134 vacancies of Clerk. To facilitate such large volume of candidates, the Commission would conduct the written examination in 10 sessions over a period of 5 days. In a notice published on October 21, the Commission notified the complete schedule of Clerk written exam. The candidates have been divided in 5 groups as per their roll numbers and hence each group has been invited to appear for the exam in separate days. The roll numbers were allotted to the candidates through the provisional admit cards.
HSSC will initiate the download process of Clerk admit card (final) from today as per the schedule. The candidates having roll number from 1510000001 to 1510175100 can now download their respective admit card as they would have to take the exam this Sunday. Rest of the candidates will be allowed to access their final admit cards separately.
For the candidates gearing up to take the HSSC Clerk exam on November 13, the knowledge of exam pattern is of utmost importance. The written exam would consist of 100 multiple choice questions; 75 questions on General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi (language) and 25 questions on topics related to Haryana State like History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, etc. The number of candidates twice the number of vacancies will be called for interview as the final selection will be based on combined performance of candidates in written exam and interview.
