HSSC Clerk exam has entered into the final slot with the fourth slot examination concluding today. Haryana Staff Selection Commission has been conducting written examination for Clerical cadre posts each Sunday from November 13. The exam has been successfully held across 4 days; November 13, 20 & 27 and December 4. The fifth and final slot of written exam would be held on December 11.
As per the reports, close to 10 lakh applications were received by the Haryana SSC for 6,134 Clerk vacancies notified under Advertisement No. 10/2015. For facilitating such large pool of candidates, the Commission had scheduled the written exam in 10 slots to be held across 5 days. The candidates were given roll numbers through the provisional admit cards and were distributed in 5 groups as per the roll numbers for these slots. As much as 1,80,600 candidates were issued final admit cards to appear for December 4 exam.
The preliminary reports suggest that only 50 percent of the applicants who were invited to appear for the written exam have attended the exam till now. The Commission had made elaborate arrangements for conducting the Clerk exam in peaceful and transparent manner. The biometric attendance has been recorded for the candidates so as to eliminate the chances of personation as well as to use it in the further selection process. Flying Officers and administrative officials were appointed to keep regular inspection over the examination process. Even the teams comprising of officials from Education Department were deployed.
Apart from officials, police force is also being used to maintain the security around the test centers. Observers have been appointed for each test center. Apart from this, jammers are being used across the test centers so as to check the malpractices using technology. Videography of the candidates is also being done.
For December 11 exam, the candidates bearing roll number from 1510700001 onwards will be eligible to appear. The admit cards for these candidates will be available from tomorrow, December 5. The candidates whose roll number lie in this group are required to download final admit card to know about the test venue. The Clerk exam would be conducted in two shifts (10.30 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 4.30 pm) on December 11.
