HSSC Clerk Exam Commences, Check Answer Key of 13 Nov Exam

HSSC Clerk answer key 2016 for exam held on November 13 is expected to be released once the whole examination would conclude. The exam is undergoing to shortlist candidates for 6,134 Clerk posts in different organizations/departments. HSSC would publish Clerk answer key at hssc.gov.in.

HSSC Clerk exam has started today as around 1.75 lakh candidates were invited to appear for the exam in its first day. The Clerk exam was conducted in two shifts – morning session (10.30 am to 12 noon) and evening session (3 pm to 4.30 pm). The exam would continue for four more days on November 20 & 27 and December 4 & 11. HSSC Clerk exam answer keys will be released by the Commission soon.

Haryana Staff Selection Commission had notified to fill 4,425 Clerk vacancies under Advertisement Number 10/2015. After including fresh vacancies, the total vacant posts count stands at 6,134. Around 10 lakh candidates will be participating in the recruitment exam process that kick-started today. In all, the Clerk exam will be conducted in 10 sessions. HSSC had also issued provisional admit cards for all applicants in August for providing them their respective roll numbers and only those candidates who had downloaded the provisional admit card were allowed to access their respective final admit card. The final admit card download process has also been distributed for different exam dates. The admit card for those candidates who have their Clerk exam on November 20 will be issued on November 14.

HSSC Clerk Exam : The written exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions divided in two sections and the candidates are required to obtain minimum qualifying marks in both sections. The break-up of questions is as follows:

  • General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi (or relevant subject) – 75 questions
  • History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, etc of Haryana – 25 questions.

Each question carries 2 marks and hence the maximum marks for the written exam are 200. As much as 12,268 candidates will be shortlisted through the written exam and will be invited to appear for the interview process. The Commission would then prepare a final merit list based on the written exam and interview.

HSSC will release the answer key of Clerk exam and it is expected that the answer keys will be released only after the completion of written exam on December 11. The candidates will be able to access the answer key at Commission website www.hssc.gov.in.
