June 05, 2017, Update: Reportedly, HSCAP will announce the trial allotment result for plus one admission 2017 on June 7, but we expect it come on the evening of June 6, or the night of June 6, as previous trends have suggested. The first allotment will be out on June 9, preliminary reports suggest. The official notice about the revised schedule is yet to be displayed at the official site www.hscap.kerala.gov.in and students are advised to wait for the same. We’ll update when we have more news.
June 3, 2017, Update: HSCAP trial allotment for plus one admissions 2017-18 will be declared next week. www.hscap.kerala.gov.in will notify the revised schedule of Plus one allotment 2017 result list within 2-3 days. Since CBSE will declare it’s 10th result on June 3, those students will be given few days to apply for HSCAP admission process and the trial allotment will be out later. A revised schedule will be notified within next 2-3 days, we’ll update here.
Old report:HSCAP Kerala trial plus one allotment 2017 result would not be declared today as Kerala High Court has now put temporary stay on the admission process. The delay in CBSE 10 class results is the issue here since a plea was filed in court seeking the extension in deadline over registrations for plus one admission process in the state. Notably, the window to apply for the plus one admission in Kerala, the process which is carried out by Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) Kerala, and through a single window system for higher secondary admissions through HSCAP, had closed on 22nd May, 2017. More so, HSCAP was to publish a trial allotment here today (May 29) before the actual, first allotment results scheduled for June 5, 2017.
What students and their parents should know now is that the trial allotment results would not be published today. CBSE class 10 results are expected on June 2, considering which, preliminary reports suggest that Kerala HC has granted 3 days to the CBSE 10th students to apply for the process. High court’s oder has been challenged seeking more extension in the matter but the court has not ruled out anything else yet. For now, reportedly, Court has given 9 June as last date to CBSE students to apply for the admissions. More developments will follow once results of CBSE class 10 exams are out. It is expected that the matter will pick up once CBSE declares the results of class 10.
Now, DHSE Kerala, HSCAP is expected to release a revised schedule but it would only be possible after CBSE results are actually out. Ever since CBSE delayed 12th results by days, there is uncertainty clouding 10th results too. There are a total of 4.22 lakh seats in plus one schools in the state of Kerala, for which over 5 lakh students apply each year. In comparison to the state board students, the number of CBSE students is quite low. While near 5 lakh apply from other boards, there were just around 45 thousand.
According to reports, DHSE would soon issue a notification regarding the matter and make the schedule official. Over 4 lakhs students who have applied for the admission have been waiting for this day as trial allotment would give them a close idea of the choice of schools/streams they are gonna get. And after an initial schedule that said plus one trial allotment would be declared on May 29, HSCAP website had not updated any notice saying that it would not, leaving students are a bit confused. However, it is advised that the parents of wards awaiting CBSE 10th class results, should be ready to submit the applications once results are out.
We’ll update once there is more news.
