HSCAP second Plus One Allotment 2016 released on hscap.kerala.gov.in

HSCAP has announced Plus one allotment and Plus one second allotment 2016 today on 26th June, one day ahead of schedule. HSCAP 2nd allotment results are published at www.hscap.kerala.gov.in along with the status of vacancy, seats allotted district-wise.

A total of 2,90,353 seats have been allotted out of total 2,91,225 seats available in the second round, only leaving 872 vacant seats. Malappuram district stands out with highest number of seats available and seats allotted at 39,904 vs 39,879.

plus one allotmentThe first allotment results were announced one week ago on 19 June and second allotment results were scheduled to be out tomorrow on 27 June. However, following the trend, HSCAP published the plus one second allotment today around 2:30 pm.

In 14 districts listed, a total of 5,01,180 aspirants had applied for second round allotment and 99.7 percent seats have been allotted.

Maximum number of seats allotted are for General category. Out of 1,95,341 seats available for general category, 1,94,664 have been alloted in second round and only 677 remain vacant. In ETB category, 15,353 seats have been allotted out of available 15,359 seats, leaving only 6 vacant seats. 12,387 seats have been allotted out of total 12,394 in Muslim quota, all of 2241 seats are allotted in LC/SIUC/Anglo India (LSA) categories.

For Chr. OBC category, 1271 seats have been allocated out of 1272 and for Hin. OBC, 5533 seats got allotted out of 5536. 38,239 SC candidates got seat allotted to them out of 38,265 available seats while for ST category, 4118 seats out of 4121 seats got allotted.

2184 seats were allotted to differently abled students out of 2304 seats in second round while blind students got 160 seats out of 169 seats available.

266 out of 267 seats have been allotted to Linguistic Minority candidates in the category and 9208 have been allotted to OEC students out of total 9225 seats available.

Candidates from Dheevera and related categories got all of the 809 seats allotted while Viswakarma and related categories students got 3140 seats allotted out of 3142. Candidates from Kusawan and related categories were allotted all 490 seats and Kudumbi categories candidates also got all 290 seats.

All of 5,01,180 candidates who applied come under 14 districts including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Pallakad, Kozhikkode, Malappuram, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasargode.

The candidates who will accept the seat allocated to them in this round, will have to compete the admission formalities before 30 June. HSCAP also released the circular notices and instructions for students and school principals separately informing about the guidelines to this round of allotment.
