The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HP PSC) has took the decision to conduct the Allied Services preliminary examination on August 21. The exam will be held in the morning session from 10 am to 1 pm at various centers located in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Approximately 46,000 candidates applied for the examination, while the 41 thousand 314 candidates have been registered.
The test will be held at as many as 131 centers across the state. Leaving Kinnaur, Lahaul & Spiti in all other regions the test centers have been kept at the headquarters. The aspirants appearing from Kinnau will have to come to Shimla to appear in the exam whereas those who have applied from Lahaul & Spiti will have to take the examination at Kullu. This information was given by the state Public Service Commission deputy secretary TS Chauhan.
The test is being held in various categories to fill in all in all 82 positions. The test is being conducted for the position of Tehsil Development Officer, Excise and Taxation Inspector, Panchayat Inspector, Industrial Development Officer and many others. The details of all the candidates selected provisionally have been uploaded on the official website.
All the aspiring candidates who have registered can now download their call letters from the official website of the department. The students are required to carry the same with them to the examination venue. The centre thus allotted to the candidate will not be changed at an cost and no requests for the same will be entertained.
