Haryana Open School (HOS) has declared Class 10th and 12th results for the examination held this year. Around 35 thousand students had taken the examinations which were organized in the month of October. The overall pass percentage has been recorded at 41.47 for Class 10 (Secondary), while 42.98 percent students managed to pass Senior Secondary examination conducted by HOS.
The secondary examination was held from October 4 to 15, wherein total 43,663 students appeared for the exams. Out of the total appeared candidates, 33,937 were boys and 9,726 were girls. Total 18,108 students have passed the HOS Secondary exam, including 14,605 boys and 3,503 girls. The result statistics further represent that 43.04 percent boys managed to pass the exam while only 36.02 percent girls could qualify.
HOS Senior Secondary exam was organized from October 3 to 21. Total 32,294 students had taken the test in the said duration as per their subjects, including 25,836 boys and 6,458 girls. Overall pass percentage has remained 42.98 for Class 12th. The girls have performed better as compared to boys in senior secondary examination October 2016. Out of 25,836 Boys, 11,004 managed to pass the exam thus taking passing percentage to 42.50. On the other hand, 2,873 girls passed the exam out of total 6,458 girls. The passing percentage of girls is 44.49.
Haryana Open School (HOS) was established by the Haryana Board of School Education in 1994 as an integral part of the Board. The HOS provides flexible options to the students by giving them freedom to opt for annual, supplementary and on-demand examinations at Secondary and Senior Secondary levels. HOS also provides credit transfer facility to the students.
The HOS result (October 2016) have been announced officially and put up on the IndiaResults portal, partner portal for results. The students can access their result through HBSE official website bseh.org.in.
