Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) had declared the result of written examination held in March last year for the post of Post-Graduate Teacher Computer Science. The exam was conducted on March 6, 2016, for 424 posts of PGT Computer Science (Rest of Haryana). The candidates can check the result at hssc.gov.in as per which 3,214 candidates have been shortlisted for further selection process.
The written examination carried 160 marks, while the experience will count for 16 marks and viva-voce/ Interview will be of 24 marks. The Commission will derive the merit list on the basis of total marks secured by the candidates, i.e. by combining the marks of written exam, experience credits, and viva-voce. The viva-voce will be conducted to assess the candidates’ knowledge of specific subject, communication skill, General Knowledge, General Awareness, and intelligence.
As of now, the shortlisted candidates will have to compulsory appear before the Commission for the scrutiny of documents wherein they will be required to bring the following documents:
- All the original documents mentioned in the advertisement.
- Set of attested copies of all documents.
- One ID Proof.
- Self-attested copy of downloaded application form.
The scrutiny of documents will be held on May 4, 5, 8 & 9. The Commission will soon notify the exact schedule at its website, hence the shortlisted candidates are advised to keep a tab on the website for more information. If any shortlisted candidate fails to appear for scrutiny of documents, he/she will not be considered for viva-voce/ interview.
Out of total 3,214 shortlisted candidates, the Commission will invite only 848 candidates for viva-voce.
Haryana Staff Selection Commission had issued advertisement no. 5/2015 for filling the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) H.E.S.II (Group-B Services) for Computer Science, Fine Arts, and Music. The posts are to be filled under the Department of Secondary Education, Haryana. Earlier, the Commission had announced the written exam result of PGT Fine Arts last week.
