Haryana HSSC Patwari result 2016- 2017: The results of Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) Patwari 2016 exam for recruitment to Land Records Department has been announced. It took HSSC nearly a year to declare the results for recruitment exam conducted under the notification HSSC 7/2016.
The written test was conducted on May 1, 2016 for the recruitment of then notified 579 posts. However, the vacancies now have been reduced to 529 as mentioned in the official notice.
In a press note issued here on Tuesday evening, Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) notified that “On the basis of the written test held on May 1, 2016 for the post of Patwari, Land Record Department, Haryana against Advt. No. 07/2015 , Category No.13, the roll numbers of provisional shortlisted candidates has been published.”
The HSSC patwari result 2016-2017 has been uploaded in the form of a merit list and the roll numbers of candidates provisionally shortlisted to appear for the process of scrutiny of documents has been put up at the official website. The candidates ascertained for the interviews will be nearly 2 times the number of vacancies advertised. The candidates whose roll numbers are listed in the merit are required to appear for the documents verification process.
The candidates can access their Haryana patwari result at the official website www.hssc.gov.in under the “results” section.
Quick note: When you open this window to check the results, press “CTRL+F” and then type your roll number in the search bar that will have appeared on screen. This way you would quickly be able to see if your roll number is in the list or not.
Around 2500 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted to appear for the next steps in the recruitment process. There are 400 more roll numbers who are pending verification as HSSC has noted these candidates have applied for Patwari exam in more than one reserved sub-categories. The roll numbers of those candidates too have been displayed in the PDF at the bottom and thy are required to appear for the scrutiny of documents provisionally on May 1, 2017. For now, these candidates’ sub-category will be considered tentative as they have entered multiple options. The decision on the category of these candidates will be taken after scrutiny of documents.
The process ahead:
- The shortlisted candidates (apart from those with multiple category options) have been called for scrutiny of documents on dates from April 27 to April 29, 2017. The process will take place at the HSSC office, Bays No. 67-70, Sector-2, Panchkula.
- The scrutiny of documents for the candidates with multiple category options will be carried out on May 1, 2017 at the same address.
- After the verification of documents, the next phase in the selection process is Interview/Viva-Voce. It is mandatory to appear for documents verification otherwise the candidates would not be considered for Interviews and no further chance would be given.
When going for scrutiny of documents, you are required to bring all the original documents, set of attested copies of all documents, one Identity proof and self-attested copy of your application form.
So far, the HSSC has declared only the results and the marks of candidates, successful or otherwise, have not been published. There is no mention of the cutoff even. Candidates have been mulling over the HSSC Patwari cutoff marks 2016-2017 but there will be no clarity until HSSC notifies the same.
