GSEB has announced the results of Purak Pariksha for SSC and HSC General in the morning today on GSEB (www.gseb.org). As reported, a total of 26,631 students applied for HSC re-examinations, however, only 17,346 wrote the exams.
The passing percentage recorded in HSC Purak Pariksha results is 23.98%, meaning only 4,160 students passed out of the more than 17 thousand as per the data given by Gujarat Board of Secondary Education (GSEB).
Gujarat SSC and HSC supplementary results have been published on www.gseb.org earlier today in accordance with the notified schedule. The supplementary examination for HSC & SSC students were conducted earlier this month and Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has notified to announce the results today. GSEB Supplementary result will be hosted at the Board’s official site gseb.org.
The Board will also issue marks sheets of the students to Heads of Schools and students will have to collect the marks sheets from their respective schools.
Around 10.5 lakh students had taken the annual SSC examination held in March and some 5.69 lakh had passed the exam as per the result declared in May. Similarly, around 8 lakh students had appeared for annual HSC examination. The average passing percentage remained somewhere around 60 percent for both examinations, so a large chunk of students applied for supplementary examination.
The Board has completed post-examination activities and will soon publish the results at its official site. Students can also apply for revaluation of their answer sheets, for which they will have to pay Rs 100 as fee. The same can be exercised within seven days of the result declaration. HSC students will have to submit application for revaluation at the Gandhinagar headquarter. For SSC students, the applications will be submitted at Board’s office in Vadodara.
If a student do not receive his/her marksheet, they should apply within two days of the result declaration.
