GPAT 2015 Application Form Online, Exam Dates and Overview

GPAT refers to Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test. This is an all India examination and conducted by All India Council for Technical Education. It facilitates admission of Pharmacy graduates in M. Pharma and also awards fellowships/ scholarships to Pharmacy graduates.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant must be a Bachelor’s degree holder in Pharmacy.
Candidate should have obtained the B.Pharm (4 years) degree after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates.
Candidates in the final year of B. Pharmacy course are also eligible for appearing in GPAT-2015-16 examination.
Age Criteria: There is no age restriction of age for this exam.

GPAT 2015:

Availability of GPAT 2015 Application Form: November 13, 2014
Last Date of GPAT 2015 Registration: January 12, 2015
Availability of GPAT 2015 Hall Ticket: February 02 to February 24, 2015

GPAT 2015 Entrance Test: February 23 & 24, 2015,
Timing: Morning Session – 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM and
Forenoon Session – 02:30 to 05:30 PM.

Declaration of GAPT 2015 Result: March 27, 2015
Print out of GAPT 2015 Test Score: March 27 to April 27, 2015

Application Forms:

Registration for GPAT 2015 can be done through online process only. No other mode of application is available. Form for GPAT exam can be filled from the official website www.aicte-gpat.in .

Registration can be done online from 13th November, 2014 to 12th January, 2015 on website www.aicte-gpat.in
Candidates will be given choice of 3 cities for online examination in the order of preference.
Allotment of seats will be based on first come first served. Actual allotment will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city.
GPAT 2015 Registration fees:-
For General and OBC candidates the fees is Rs.1400.
For SC, ST and PD candidates it is Rs.700.
Fees can be paid by cash, through net banking or debit/credit card.
Bank charges are also applicable.

Exam Pattern, Syllabus:

GPAT is a multiple choice computer based test (CBT).
There will be 125 questions and the duration of test will be 180 minutes.
For each correct answer there are 4 marks, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
