In a bid to help the student assess their potential, one of the biggest coaching institutes – FIITJEE organized the FIITEE Talent Reward Exam (FTRE) on December 25. The students currently studying in Class 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 participated in the exam, based on the performance of which the FIITJEE would award scholarships for its coaching programs. The classroom programs will help the students crack the entrance exam of IITs – JEE Advanced.
The online registrations of the FIITJEE FTRE exam were concluded on December 22, while the test centers were allotted to the students as per their location. The exam for Class 5 & 6 students comprised of a single paper, while the rest of the students had to attempt two papers. The first paper for Class 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 students consisted of questions from Aptitude Test, Science & Mathematics, while the second paper for Class 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 students consisted of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. The first paper for Class 10 & 11 students had Aptitude test, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. The students will have to clear minimum cut-off in both the papers as well as in each subject to become eligible for scholarships.
As per the official schedule, the FIITJEE will publish the FTRE answer key for Delhi & NCR region on December 27. For Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan & Madhya Pradesh, the answer keys will be released on 28 December, while for remaining states, it would be done on 29 December. The students will also be able to submit the objections if they find any wrong answer.
The result announcement would be done class-wise. Starting on 7 January, Class 10 result will be announced. The remaining schedule is:
- Class 5 & 6 – 14 January
- Class 7 – 13 January
- Class 8 – 9 January
- Class 9 – 12 January
- Class 11 – 11 January
FITJEE Talent Reward Exam is a platform to help students know their true standing at National level, the institute claims. Through the exam, the students will get to know their Rank Potential Index (RPI) / Success Potential Index (SPI) which will help them in understanding their current ability and plan their study schedule to improve their chances to crack the IIT entrance exam. The Institute will also offer a Certificate of Achievement to the students securing a rank in Top 500.
The Institute has formed different programs for FTRE qualified students depending on their current class. Like, the students currently studying in Class 5 can join 1-year foundation program for Class 5, while there is a 2-year classroom program for Class 6 students, 1-year classroom program for Class 7 students. For students currently studying in Class 8 and aiming to appear for JEE Advanced will be enrolled for 4-year integrated school program. There is 3-year classroom program for Class 9 students, 2-year classroom program for Class 10 students and also 1-year classroom program for Class 11 students.
