FIITJEE Big Bang Edge test on 16 October

Started last year, the second edition Big Bang Edge test is going to be held on October 16. FIITJEE had notified the test for the first time last year, inviting the students of Class 5 to 11 to participate. Big Bang Edge test offers unique opportunities to the aspirants in comparison to the other tests as it aims to prepare the students for competitive exams as well as getting admission in foreign universities. The candidates get a fair idea of their potential, capabilities and in addition, are rewarded with scholarships, waivers for joining the Classroom or Integrated School program offered by the FIITJEE.

FIITJEE has also notified to expand the scope of the Big Bang Edge to include students who are interested to join law, medicine, engineering, commerce and humanities programs offered at US universities, UK Universities and Singapore University. Such students would have to take Big Bang Edge test followed by a comprehensive goal setting session to be carried out in collaboration with USA UnivQuest.

A press release issued by the Institute mentioned that the test would help students to analyse their performance in terms of academics and writing exams as well as evaluate their scope for success in competitive examinations.

The registrations for the Big Bang Edge test were done through online as well as offline modes till October 8. The students presently in Class 5 & 6 will have to take a single paper of 3 hours duration. The paper would contain objective type questions based on IQ, Science & Mathematics. For the students presently in Class 7, 8 & 9, there would be two papers; first paper would be same while the second paper would contain questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

For the students presently in Class 10 & 11, paper 1 would have objective questions from IQ, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, while Paper 2 would have questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Paper 1 would be conducted from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm, while the students would be given 30 minutes (9 am to 9.30 am) for filling OMR Answer Sheet and reading the examination instructions. Paper 2 would be conducted from 1.30 pm to 4.45 pm with an extra time of 15 minutes from 1.30 pm to 1.45 pm.

As per the official notice, the results of Big Bang Edge test would be announced separately for each class between October 25 to November 4.
