In yet another notification released yesterday, ESIC has just tried to justify the delay in declaration of the exam results that it conducted some 6 to 8 months back. Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) had conducted the written examination for filling over 5 thousand posts of Upper Division Clerk, Multi Tasking Staff, Stenographer and Paramedical Cadre in March and May this year for which hundreds of thousand aspirants appeared. These aspirants have been waiting for the announcement of results for a long time now and it seems that they will have to wait more.
The online examination for filling approx. 3,773 vacancies of UDC, MTS & Stenographer was conducted from March 18 to 21. The answer keys of the exam was released on April 29 and even the objections submitted by the candidates were recorded. The final answer keys (correction for wrong questions/answers) were then placed in the official website on June 20.
Coming to the online exam held for filling vacancies under Nursing & Paramedical cadre, the exam was conducted on May 21 & 22. The preliminary answer keys were released on June 7 and the objections were submitted till June 13. The final answer keys are yet to be released for the exam. There are approx. 1,663 posts to be filled under Nursing & Paramedical Cadre.
While the candidates were feared of the cancellation of these exams, as they had witnessed with several other exams, the Corporation rolled out a notice on August 17, citing the delay in the results announcement. “The results of online examinations for the posts of UDC, MTS, Steno and Paramedical Cadres is pending due to Administrative reasons,” the notice presented the statement of Deputy Director (Recruitment).
Many candidates asked ExamsWatch about the updates on ESIC result, acting on which our team tried to reach to the authorities. So far, our constant efforts in establishing contact with the concerned authorities have failed. Meanwhile, a latest notice has been issued on November 24 which mentions that in continuation of the previous notice, the candidates are further informed that the processing of result is delayed as the vacancy position of these posts is under review. While both the notices give some consolation to the aspirants about the validity of exam, it doesn’t necessarily inform the exact developments. Both the notice keep on encouraging the candidates to check the official website from time to time.
