CBSE results to affect DU admission cut off 2015 this year

The CBSE result is likely to come out by the end of May after which Delhi University (DU) would announce the cut off. And it’s expected that the CBSE results would affect the cut off marks that would create difficulties for some students. According to sources, it’s revealed that this year the cut off marks would reach the highest level that’s clear from the admission procedure for some affiliated colleges and Universities.

Last year manifold colleges and institutions faced severe anarchy that caused difficulties in the overall admission procedure. In 2013, the 1st cut off was revealed as 43 of 56 colleges where the percentage for Commerce stream was 90% and for some institutes it was 95%.

The limited number of seats in the reputed colleges serves as one of the major concern due to which the cut off would reach the highest limit. However, for the students belonging to SC, ST and OBC a different cut off range would be fixed according to the guidelines from the Government of India. Also, the extracurricular activities and other form of sports would be given preference and the students would get admitted according to the individual performance. The candidates need to participate in the auditions qualifying which one can seek the desired position bringing the dreams in real time.

The cut offs are not decided based on the results rather it’s fixed up considering the number of seats available, difficulty level of the paper etc. The total aggregate comes out for 5 individual subjects whereas the colleges consider the total for best of 4 subjects. Among the 4 subjects English is the compulsory one that’s taken into consideration by most of the institutes. The colleges would publish the eligibility criteria and the students who fulfill the required marks can apply within the mentioned time period.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) reveals that this year approximately 2,91,414 students appeared for the exam that shows a high figure to about 30,000 students as compared to the last year. The Du official revealed that the additional admissions would be controlled accordingly ensuring the flawless execution of the process. Moreover, proper steps would be taken that would be useful to fill up the reserved seats at different institutes all over the country.
