DRDO is holding the CEPTAM 8 exam 2016 on 17th July, admit cards have been released and more details.
Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) will conduct entry test CEPTAM-08 on July 17, 2016. The DRDO entry test is being conducted to fill 1142 posts, out of which 564 vacancies are for Senior Technical Assistant, 345 for Technician and 233 for Admin & Allied Cadre. DRDO has also released admit cards for all applicants which can be accessed from official web portals www.drdo.gov.in and www.ceptamonline.org.
DRDO had released the official advertisement for CEPTAM-08 (Centre for Personnel Talent Management) in January and eligible candidates were invited to apply for the respective posts by February 08, 2016. Candidates registered for the test in large numbers and are now waiting to take the test which will be held on July 17, 2016. DRDO has decided to conduct the entry test in various examination centres set up across 25 cities. As much as 6,498 applications were rejected on the grounds of incomplete information. The posts that will be filled through CEPTAM-08 comprises of Senior Technical Assistant, Technician, Junior Translator, Stenographer Grade-II, Store Assistant ‘A’, Admin Assistant, Vehicle Operator ‘A’ & Assistant Halwai-cum Cook.
DRDO entry test will be conducted in two shifts on July 17. The written examination for the posts of STA ‘B’ & Technician ‘A’ will be conducted in different shifts. The examination for the posts of Admin Assistant ‘A’ and Store Assistant ‘A’ will also be held in separate shifts but it will be time-clubbed with the shift for STA ‘B’ and Technician ‘A’ separately.
DRDO CEPTAM-08 written examination will be OMR based and there will be 150 objective type questions in the exam. The question paper consists of different sections according to the posts, specific exam paper pattern was depicted in the advertisement. After the completion of the exam process, DRDO will announce the results along with merit list. DRDO will then call candidates for document verification/interview on the basis of their performance in the written test.
Candidates can now download their admit cards by using their credentials. There are three options to download CEPTAM admit card, by using application number; date of birth & mobile number and post-code, name & date of birth.
