The DCT’s are regular books, which are scanned and uploaded with expert views and special notes.

Kerala Government has taken its first step towards digitization with the help of this scheme. With successful installation of this project, Kerala will become the first digital acclaimed State in the country. As a part of this initiative, Wi-Fi hot-spots will be made available to the people surrounding these schools. However, people will have a restricted access to the internet over these wi-fi regions. Only government websites will be allowed to access and if someone wants to use other internet facility like Whatsapp or Facebook, they will have to pay a particular sum of money to the local government.

This project is introduced by the State government as a part of Digital Kerala Program in order to educate the students by providing them with world class facility. The State government has decided to launch this initiative by the month of October.
