DHE Odisha +2 first admission merit list 2017 out at dheodisha.gov.in

The first DHE Odisha merit list for 2017 plus two (+2) admissions has been declared today at www.dheodisha.gov.in by Director of Higher Education (DHE) Odisha, for the enrolled students. As much as 1,578 junior colleges are participating in the 2017 admission process that is being conducted through Student Academic Management System (SAMS). There are around 4,19,641 seats on offer in the junior colleges for the academic year 2017-18. The students can check DHE Odisha website (www.dheodisha.gov.in) to check Plus Two merit list 2017.

DHE Odisha is offering Plus 2 admissions in Science, Commerce, and Arts streams through an integrated Academic Management System named as SAMS. Higher Education Department regulates the Plus Two admissions through online mode. As of 6th June, 4,79,671 applications were received by DHE Odisha. Additionally, CAF submitted at SRC Colleges stood at 3,24,916. Total number of options (combination of college and stream) accounted for 9,09,150 applications, whereas the total sanctioned strength in Junior Colleges of Odisha is 4,19,641.

Among the junior colleges, Ravenshaw Junior College of Cuttack has the highest cut off percentage in Science Stream, while Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Junior College has the highest cut off percentage in Science stream. Here are the cut-off percentages for some of the colleges:

Ravenshaw Junior College, Cuttack:

Science – 93.17 percent
Commerce – 80.67 percent
Arts – 73.67 percent

Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Junior College:

Science – 92.67 percent
Commerce- 83.60 percent
Arts – 75.33 percent

Fakir Mohan College, Balasore:

Science – 87.17 percent
Commerce – 64.83 percent
Arts – 74 percent

Khalikote College, Ganjam:

Science – 87.67 percent
Commerce – 68.40 percent
Arts – 63 percent

Ramadevi Women’s College, Bhubaneswar:

Science – 85.50 percent
Commerce – 71.33 percent
Arts – 71.67 percent

DHE Odisha merit list (1st phase) is now available at the official website www.dheodisha.gov.in. The cut-off marks for the colleges can be checked from the online DHE Odisha SAMS.

The second merit list will be published on 22nd June.
