Delhi Polytechnic CET 2017: Form Correction begins

The application process for Delhi Common Entrance Test- Delhi CET 2017 was closed yesterday wherein the Board has received over 40 thousand applications. Now, these applicants have been given an opportunity to edit the filled-in application forms. The facility will remain open from April 21 to 24, till 5 pm. The entrance test will be held in Delhi only.

The Integrated Institute of Technology, Dwarka is conducting the Delhi CET 2017 exam on behalf of Department of Training and Technical Education. The entrance test is conducted each year for admission to Full-time Diploma programs in engineering/ technology, Modern Office Practice (English/ Hindi), Pharmacy and under lateral scheme in various institutes affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Delhi. As per the reports, Delhi CET 2017 will be held to fill 4635 seats in all full-time diploma courses in 2016-17 and 357 seats in lateral entry.

As of now, the application correction window will open & the candidates will have to login at the official website using their details and check the details. If one is not able to make corrections, he/she can take the help of helpdesks available at different Institutes of Technology and BTE. Check the list of helpdesks here.

Delhi CET 2017 will be conducted as five tests on May 27 & 28. The applicants will have to attempt 150 questions and each question will carry 4 marks. Negative marking will also be applicable in the test. The test will be of 150 minutes duration, check detailed schedule in the table below:

Delhi CET admit card will be made available for download one week before the exam at www.cetdelhiexam.nic.in. The applicants shall download the admit card in duplicate with instructions and check all the details mentioned in it. If there is any discrepancy in the details, one should immediately contact the helpdesk at Integrated Institute of Technology Dwarka, Delhi.

The candidates are required to preserve the CET admit card till the admission process is completed as no duplicate admit card will be issued by the Controller CET 2017 after the entrance test.

Based on the CET marks, merit list will be prepared for each test. For being eligible to admission, a general candidate must secure a minimum of 10% marks in CET. The minimum marks are 5% for SC, ST, OBC, PwD candidates.
