Delhi ITI admissions: allotment 2016 results to be out on www.itidelhiadmissions.nic.in

The department of Training and Technical Education, DTTE is likely to announce results for counselling and allotment of seats. The registration process has ended on 13th June and reportedly around 45 thousand candidates have applied for admission against 9242 seats in 49 trades in 19 government ITI colleges.

The Delhi ITI allotment results and merit list will be placed online at www.itidelhiadmissions.nic.in and students can access the same after login with their details.

DTTE has notified that registered candidates need to appear for documents verification process before 15th June by reporting at any Govt. ITI. Delhi ITI allotment 2016 result and counselling results will be declared after the completion of process of documents verification.

It’s expected that Delhi ITI seat allotment results will be declared on 15th or 16th June 2016. The results will be published online as the complete process has taken place online too.

The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of candidate’s marks in the board exams and merit list will be prepared accordingly. The seats in colleges are reserved according to the categories and rules set by state govt.

90% seats are for candidates passing qualifying exams from Delhi schools, 9% seats for candidates passing exams from other state schools and 1% is reserved for J&K migrants.

Category wise, 30% seats are reserved for female candidates in all co-ed ITIs, 15% for scheduled castes, 7.5% for scheduled tribes, 15% for OBC, along with other reservations for defence personnels, NCC cadets and physically disabled candidates.

There will be several rounds of counselling and seat allotment for admission. In the first round, seat would be allocated to candidate by considering their rank, category, sub-category as per choices filled by them where seat is available. The candidates have to download the allotment letter and generate printout within stipulated time.

After the candidate is allotted a seat in an ITI, he/she has to freeze the seat and then report to the concerned college and complete the admission formalities within specified time. If the candidate would not be satisfied by the allotted seat, he/she can apply for the next round of counselling.

Delhi ITI allotment result and cutoff rank 2016 will be declared within 1-2 days. Candidates need to keep track of www.itidelhiadmissions.nic.in for details of the allotment and counselling.
