#Update: In the first round of counselling of Delhi CET polytechnic 2017, the seat allotment results are out. Candidates may check their allotment of seat and status at official website now.
Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi government will publish the CET seat allotment result of first round today for admission to the polytechnic courses in the state colleges. The time for publication of Delhi CET seat allotment result is 4 pm and the same will be made available on the official website www.cetdelhi.nic.in. To check CET seat allotment status, the applicants will have to login to the website using the registration details like CET application number, roll number and test serial number.
There are total 5,727 seats in 31 diploma courses available for admissions through Delhi CET counselling. The seats are distributed as 4,517 seats in 10 government institutions, 25 seats in 1 government aided institution and remaining 1,185 seats are available in 5 private institutions. The Common Entrance Test was held on 27th & 28th May and the results were declared on 16th June. Based on the performance in Delhi CET 2017, the qualified candidates were invited to participate in the online counselling process.
Following the declaration of Delhi CET result on 16th June, the online registration facility was opened on the next day. The last date for online registration and choice filling was set as 20th June and the result of 1st counselling is 22nd June. After the publication of Delhi CET seat allotment result, the candidates will have to take the print out of provisional allotment letter.
The candidates allotted a seat as per CET first seat allotment result today, the candidates will have to pay the part Institutional fee. The fee can be paid from 10 am tomorrow to 27th June, up to 4 pm. Such candidates will have to get their documents verified on or before 28th June, 4 pm. After successful verification of documents, the candidates can either freeze their allotment (if they have been allotted a seat of their choice) or participate in further rounds of counselling for up-gradation of seat allotment. The candidates will have to mention their decision on or before 29th June, 4 pm. The online registration and choice filling for second round will start from 30th June.
If a candidate does not ‘Freeze’ the allotted seat, the next higher option may be allotted to him/ her automatically in the next round and he/ she will forfeit the earlier allotted seat. The candidates can freeze the allotted seat from the official website and after the online payment of balance Institutional fee, they can generate the final allotment letter.
Delhi CET seat allotment will be done based on the rank, region, category, sub-category, gender, etc. for each of the five tests. Follow these basic steps to check Delhi Polytechnic seat allotment result:
- Visit the official website www.cetdelhi.nic.in
- Click on ‘Registered Candidate Login’ link.
- After login, click on ‘Allotment Letter’ link.
- Click on Print Provisional Allotment Letter, if the seat is allotted.
