Kheraj Ram Choudhary, a 19 year old student from Rajasthan made his father proud by securing 285th rank in All India Pre-Medical Test, AIPMT- 2015, that’s the special thing about this student qualifying AIPMT.
All India Pre-Medical Test is considered to be one of the toughest exam conducted across the nation. In order to qualify the AIPMT exam one need to have good guidance and world class study materials. Kheraj Choudhary who belongs to economical weaker section manages to overcome this great barrier taking a step ahead towards his dream of becoming a doctor.
Kheraj was born to a poor family in a small village Sarnu Seemanji in Barmer district in Rajasthan. Even without having electricity connection at home, kheraj manages to complete his education up to class VIII in his village facing huge problems. Owing to the great difficulties faced by him, his father Jugataram Choudhary took him to Jodhpur for his further studies. Jugataram who himself holds Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) degree works as coolie in Jodhpur railway station as he was unable to secure a proper job in government sector.
Kheraj dedicated his entire achievement to his father and mentioned that the main driving force behind his success was his father’s hard work and determination. Jugataram who promised his son to provide him with best coaching classes if he gets 75 percent marks in class 12. Keeping the promises made by his father in mind, kheraj managed to secure 79 percent marks in his class 12 board examination. Jugataram stated that he wants to everything possible by him to make his son dream to become a doctor although he was unable to become teacher despite his qualifications.
Kheraj took admission in Allen Career Institute at Kota. He said to a local newspaper, “I spent last one year in the uniform of the institute as I did not had money to buy clothes”. Kheraj who has witnessed poverty his entire life has son silver medal from the Allen Career Institute for being in Top 20 rankings of the students who qualified AIPMT-2015. His achievement also won him 50 percent of his entire tution fee from the institute, which he thinks would help him a lot.
Jagataram is proud of his son’s achievement and is excited seeing his son’s results. Kheraj Ram Choudhary wish pursue his dream of becoming a doctor by taking admission in either Sawai Man Singh Medical College or Jodhpur Medical College.
