Finally, the notification for Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2017 has been released on the official website. The online registration for CUCET 2017 will commence from March 20, 2017 and will end on April 14, 2017. CUCET 2017 will be held on May 17 & 18, 2017 CUCET is an All India level exam for admission in various 322 integrated / undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses in nine central universities. The coordinating university for CUCET 2017 is Central University of Rajasthan.
CUCET 2017 admit card will be available for download on the official website on May 05, 2017. Answer key will be uploaded on the official website on May 19, 2017. Grievances, if any, can be submitted by the candidate only till 5 pm on May 22, 2017 from May 19, 2017. Corrected answer key will be uploaded on May 29, 2017 and the result of CUCET 2017 will be declared on June 7, 2017.
List of central universities which is participating in CUCET 2017 are Central University of Haryana, Central University of Jammu, Central University of Jharkhand, Central University of Karnataka, Central University of Kashmir, Central University of Kerala, Central University of Punjab, Central University of Rajasthan, Central University of South Bihar and Central University of Tamil Nadu. One single application and entrance test (CUCET) provides opportunities for admission in Seven Central Universities located nation-wide. The Central Universities which are not participating in CUCET this year are Central University of Gujarat, Central University of Orissa and Central University of Himachal Pradesh.
Through the CUCET, the following courses get offered. The list of the programmes offered are Integrated B.A./B.Sc. B.Ed Programmes (4 years), Integrated BA/M.A. Programme; Integrated M.A. Programmes (5 years); Integrated M.B.A. Programme (5 years), Integrated M. Tech. Programmes (5 years), Integrated M.Sc. Programmes (5 years), Integrated M.Sc. B. Ed. Programmes (6 years) and Integrated Law Programme (5 years); Bachelor’s Programme (3 Years).
Prior filling in the application form, the aspiring candidates are required to keep ready the below mentioned things: a valid email id, Scanned Photograph of Self (In .jpeg/.jpg Format & size between 10KB to 100KB only), and Scanned Signature of Self (In .jpeg/.jpg Format & size between 5KB to 20KB only). Details of Credit card, Net banking or ATM-cum-Debit card for online Payment of application fee. The general category students are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 800 + Rs. 50 as bank charges for three Pus while the reserved category students are required to pay Rs. 350 +Rs. 50 towards bank charges for 3 PUs.
