The deadline to submit applications for CUCET 2017 has been extended by five days and the registrations will now end on April 19. Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET), the entrance test for admission to 10 participating central universities will be conducted on May 17 & 18, 2017.
There is one more notice at the official website that says that UGQP02 will now be held on May 17, 2017 in the morning shift between 9 am to 11 am.
The online registrations had begun from March 20, 2017 and were poised to end tomorrow (April 14). The admit cards to the aspirants will be issued on May 5. After the holding of the tests, preliminary answer keys will be uploaded online on May 19. The final answer keys will be released on May 29 after accepting grievances from the candidates and correction of the same. The results will then be published by June 7, 2017.
The administration had said that currently 76 centres have been set up for the examination but in case the number of candidates at a centre is below 100, the test at that centre will be cancelled and the students would be allotted centre to another nearest centre.
The admissions on offer are UG/Integrated Programs(3/4/5 years), PG/B.Ed./Integrated M.Sc B.Ed/PG Diploma Programs(1/2/3 years) and MPhil/PhD. Programs. The admissions are facilitated on the basis of candidates’ performance in the test. A rank list is prepared based on the results and the counselling is conducted to allot seats.
