CTET 2016 admit card released: exam on September 18

In a press note here, CBSE has released the CTET admit card for 2016 examination which will take place on September 18. For the 10th edition of CTET, both paper 1 and 2 examination will be held in two shifts on the same day. As per reports, over 7 lakh candidates had applied for this Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which is held twice a year. In it’s official notification, CBSE had said that CTET admit card for September exam will be made available from August 17.

ctet 2016The admit cards will be issued online on www.ctet.nic.in and candidates may visit the website today to download admission certificates. Candidates’ information such test city and venue, timing and important guidelines will be mentioned on the admit card. It must be noted that admit cards won’t be dispatched to any candidates and are required to be downloaded from official website only.

The responsibility to organize CTET was bestowed to CBSE which has been holding since it’s launch. CTET Sept 2016 will be it’s 10th edition and is held to ensure that the persons recruited as teachers possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching in schools at elementary, primary and upper primary levels.

CTET 2016 will be held on September 18 in two shifts. The paper I will be held in afternoon shift between 2 pm to 4:30 pm and paper II will be conducted in the morning shift between 09:30 am to 12 noon. The admit cards will remain available at website until the date of examination. In case any candidate finds any discrepancies in his/her admit card, he/she must contact the CTET office regarding the same in due time.

The complete schedule of CTET exam along with details of exam pattern and syllabus can also be find at CTET website.
