Counselling underway for admission to KL university

The counselling for admission to KL University on the basis of it’s entrance test- KLUEEE 2017, had begun from May 14, 2017 and will end by May 17, 2017 at Vijaywada Campus in both morning and evening sessions. Out of 36,000 candidates who appeared for the entrance exam, 31,232 candidates were qualified. Somewhere around 30,000 rank holders would be called of the first phase counselling. Three days’ counselling is over and there’s only a day to go.

The first 40, 000 EAMCET rank holders and candidates who were qualified for JEE advance along with candidates who obtained more than 960 marks in intermediate examination are also eligible for counselling as told by KLU vice-president Koneru Raja Hareen while addressing media conference.

Candidates can obtain the rank card from the official website. Counselling would be held for the courses CSE, ECE, EEE, ECSE, Mechanical, Civil, Bio-Technology and Petroleum Engineering for the year 2017-21. First 750 rank holders of KLU-EEE, first 2000 rank holders in EAMCET and candidates who obtained 139 marks and above in JEE Mains would get additional merit scholarship fees. Moreover, the SC/ST students would get Rs 10,000 and BC students would get Rs 5,000 fee discount per year.

Fee to be paid at the time of counselling – For B.Tech (CSE, ECE, ME, ECSE, BT, CE, EEE, PE) the admission fee to be paid once is INR 10000 and caution deposit to be paid is INR 5000 and it is refundable. The tuition fee for first semester of B.Tech CSE and ECE is INR 1,00,000, for ME and ECSE it is INR 92,500 AND for B.Tech BT,CE,EEE and PE it is INR 85,000. The fee has to be paid via Demand Draft and the DD has to be drawn in favour of “KL University” payable at Vijaywada.

Documents to be produced at the time of Counselling: Counselling call letter. Class 10 or SSLC marks memo/ Equivalent Certificate. Class 12/ equivalent qualified Exam Marks Memo/ Provisional/Pass Certificate Entrance Examination Hall Ticket & Rank Card. (KLUEEE, JEE Main or EAMCET). Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate (CC). Other Certificates such as Sports/NCC /*Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) mentioned in the application. Caste Certificate in case of OBC/SC/ST candidates and Differently Abled (PH) Certificate issued by relevant medical Authority. 6 Passport size color photographs. Two sets of photo copies of all the original certificates.
