CMAT 2018 admit card has been released by the organizing body All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) today. The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2017 will be conducted as an online computer-based exam on January 27 & 28, 2018. The applicants can download the admit card of CMAT 2018 from the official website www.aicte-cmat.in using their login credentials. CMAT admit card will remain available for download till January 20, the exam date.
The application process for AICTE CMAT 2018 was carried out from October 10 to December 10. While AICTE had initially set January 5 as the date for release of CMAT admit card, the admit cards have been uploaded today. The registered users can log in to the AICTE CMAT website using their candidate id and password to get access to CMAT admit card 2018. The admit card bear the candidate’s name, Registration ID, Roll number, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination center details, and instructions.
AICTE will not be sending any hard copy of the admit card to the registered address of candidates, however, the applicants may get the admit card on their email address. In case of non-receipt of the Admit Card or any error in the details, the candidates should contact AICTE office over phone or on the official email id.
CMAT score is accepted by over 400 B-schools for MBA / PGDM courses. The test would be conducted in 62 cities across the country. The test would consist of 100 questions to be answered in 180 minutes. Each question would carry 4 marks and 1 mark would be deducted for each wrong response. AICTE has also provided the facility of trial test for the ease of the candidates.
CMAT is considered to be the second largest management entrance test after CAT. Despite ups and downs and after witnessing a total overhaul in the structure, content and conduct of the exam, it is expected that at least 1 lakh candidates would appear in CMAT 2018. The CMAT exam will be a computer-based test (CBT) of 3 hours duration. The exam will be held in a single day & single session on January 20 from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM in 62 cities all across India.
Since 2016, CMAT is no longer conducted twice a year exam as it used to be, there wouldn’t be an opportunity to improve the scores in second CMAT in case the first CMAT does not award good scores.
