CLAT admit card 2017 is available now at the CLAT website www.clat.ac.in. The applicants can use their registered email address to access CLAT admit card.
As reported earlier, CLAT admit card 2017 will be issued at 10 pm today. The candidates may visit www.clat.ac.in to download the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2017 admit cards online.
The national-level test, CLAT 2017, is scheduled to be held on May 14 and has record takers this year.
CLAT is the only entrance examination for admissions in undergraduate and postgraduate programs of all National Universities of Law (NLUs), except NLU Delhi and Shimla. For admissions in academic session 2017-18, 18 NLUs are participating in the test. Every year, one of the NLUs hold the exam and this time, Chanakya National Law University, Patna is the organizing authority of CLAT 2017 which notified the test on December 25.
The applications for CLAT 2017 were filled till March 31, wherein over 44 thousand aspirants registered for UG programs and over 6 thousand registered for PG programs. The admission test will be held simultaneously for both UG and PG program on May 14. There are 1,436 seats in UG program and 484 PG seats on offer through CLAT 2017. Also, three PSUs will be using the CLAT-PG scores for recruitment purposes.
CLAT 2017 will be administered as an online test and will be held in a single shift across over 175 venues in 66 cities. The exam timing will be 3 pm to 5 pm. CLAT-UG will comprise of 200 questions, while CLAT-PG will have 150 questions. Each question will carry 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score for each wrong response given by the candidate. The applicants can check the detailed structure of question paper.
The previous year question papers were also made available for the aspirants so as to help them acquaint themselves with the exam pattern of CLAT. This facility is still open for the registered candidates and is beneficial in terms of better preparation for CLAT 2017. The aspirants can also take the help of CLAT mock tests for preparation.
CLAT 2017 admit card will be uploaded on the official website on April 20, the University had announced in the exam schedule. All the applicants are required to get their respective CLAT admit card through online mode as no admit card will be sent via e-mail or by post. The candidates will have to carry the admit card along with a proof of their identity such as identity card, Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Driving License or Passport at the time of examination.
The university will prepare and declare the result of CLAT 2017 on or before May 20. The ranks secured by the candidates in CLAT 2017 will be used for admission purposes as well as recruitment.
