Amidst controversies, the Convener of CLAT 2015 has issued a notification regarding delay in the publication of CLAT-15 First Allotment List. The notification reads, an expert committee has been constituted to look over the objection raised questioning the accuracy of few answers in the question paper. The publication of first allotment list for CLAt 2015 is withheld for few days.
After the verdict of Allahabad High Court given on 25 May, the publication of CLAT 2015 first allotment list has been delayed. As per the schedule, first allotment list was to be published on 31st May. It seems that RMLNLU will take few more days to sort out the issue. Law aspirants are becoming impatient as the days are passing by since the announcement of CLAT results.
CLAT result was declared on 20 May, but after petition filed in the Allahabad High Court by 11 students, the court issued an order on 25 May to the Convener of CLAT to publish the result in the form of merit list.
The Bench pointed out the discrepancy quoting, “A girl candidate who has secured a State Rank of 51 is shown to have obtained a State Women Ranking of 105…a person who scored 26.25 marks was given an All India Ranking of 4539 while another candidate with a similar CLAT score was given an All India Rank of 25073.”
The allotment list was rescheduled to be released on 2 June after the initial delay, then the official website was updated with a notification referring technical issues as a problem. But now a fresh notification has been updated, stating the discrepancy in some answers mentioned in the released answer key. An Expert committee has been constituted to look into the matter and come up with the better solution.
CLAT 2015 First Allocation list will be released once these allegations are sorted out, we will try to bring the latest coverage on the issue.
