Council of Higher Education (CHSE) Odisha will declare Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) result i.e., plus two (+2) 12th result of science stream today at www.orissaresults.nic.in and www.chseodisha.nic.in. +2 result Odisha will only be released online today and marks sheets would be available in schools after nearly a week.
Only few hours are left in the declaration of Class 12 Science Board Results of the Indian state of Odisha. The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) is likely to declare the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results for Science Stream at 11 AM on the official website of the board which is being hosted by National Informatics Centre at orissaresults.nic.in and chseodisha.nic.in. Once the results are declared, candidates can check the same by filling in the log in credentials on the official website. The results of stream ‘Humanities and Commerce’ will be out later.
The higher secondary examination in the state started with the English paper on March 6. A total number of 3,80,707 students appeared in the examinations in all the four streams of arts, science, commerce and vocational in the state. Of them, around 91 thousand sat for science exam, around 2.43 lakh for arts and around 28 thousand for commerce exam.
This year, the state boards across the nation are declaring the results early for they have been directed by the Human Resources Development ministry to declare their respective class 12 results as early as possible to ensure easy calculation for national level entrance examinations for admissions to medical and engineering colleges.

You should note that CHSE result 2017 at official websites namely; www.orissaresults.nic.in and www.chseodisha.nic.in. Only the science stream results will come today, remaining will follow in about a week, the board has not fixed the dates for them yet.
Synopsis of the 2016 Board Results
In the year 2016, the pass percentage recorded was 80.8 with 53 students securing above 90 per cent. In 2015, a total of 93,920 candidates appeared for the exam out of which 75,434 passed the Odisha plus Two exam. The overall pass percentage was 80.31.
Last year more than 3,73,000 students wrote the board exams for Class 12. 85,000 students from the science stream appeared for the exams. Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha has been instituted to regulate, control and develop Higher Secondary Education in the State of Odisha. As its reach spreads to the remotest parts of the State there is an urgent need to provide quick and easy.
