The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha has enrolled around 16 thousand teachers for the evaluation work of Plus 2 answer sheets. Dr. Prabodh Kumar Panda, Deputy Controller of Examination, CHSE informed that the evaluation process of Plus 2 answer sheets will be carried out at 51 centers across the State.
Around 3.5 lakh students have been the part of Plus 2 exams this year, combining Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams. Dr. Panda said that the answer sheets of Science and Commerce streams will be evaluated online, while the answer sheets of Arts and Vocational Papers will be evaluated offline. “The offline valuation will be carried out at all the centers”, he said.
As per the information, the evaluation of Plus 2 answer sheets will be done in two phases, with the first phase of process starting from today. The first phase would conclude on April 14 and the second phase of evaluation process will be carried out from April 17 to 26.
CHSE had scheduled the Plus Two examination from March 6 to 28, however, the Chemistry exam was rescheduled. The Chemistry exam was initially scheduled to be held on March 16, but the question papers of the subject were found in the question paper packets of Mathematics, which was held on March 14. The exam was then re-scheduled to March 30, as CHSE ordered a probe into the matter.
The evaluation process would conclude on April 26 and the CHSE Odisha would announce Plus 2 Science result in the second week of May. The results of Arts, Commerce and Vocational Education will be declared in the first week of June.
