CEE Kerala to conduct LLB entrance exam on Sept 4: Registrations begin

The commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has opened registrations for Bachelor of Law (LLB) 2016 entrance examination. Aspirants seeking admission in 3-year law (LL.B) course for the academic session 2016-17 can apply now. The admissions in 645 seats fall under the authority of CEE and hence the candidates seeking admission in these seats will have to write the entrance examination conducted by the CEE Kerala. The application window was opened on August 13 and would be closed on August 23, at 3 pm.

kerala law entrance examThe candidates aspiring to take admission in 3-year LL.B. course are required to register for the entrance exam within the time frame mentioned above. The application fee has been set as Rs. 600 for General & SEBC candidates, while the same is Rs. 300 for SC.ST candidates, the application fee can be paid through online mode as well as a demand draft. The application form is to be filled online and then the candidates are required to take the printout of the filled form. The candidates would have to send the application form along with the requisite documents to the CEE Office and it should reach before August 23, 2016.

The Law entrance examination would be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode on September 4, 2016 (Sunday). The test would be conducted from 10 am to 1 pm and would consist of 200 questions based on General English (65 questions), General Knowledge (65 questions) and Aptitude for Legal Studies (70 questions). The CEE Kerala would also prepare the answer keys of the exam and publish it on its official site. The admit cards for the Law entrance test would be released on the CEE website on August 30.

The seats on offer through Law entrance exam include 400 seats in government law colleges (100 seats each in Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur & Kozhikode) and 245 seats in 8 Private Self-financing Law Colleges across the State. The application forms are available online and can be filled at cee.kerala.gov.in.
