The UGC NET 2017 examination is scheduled to be held on January 22 and the examination authority – CBSE has uploaded the admit cards online. CBSE UGC NET admit card are available at the official portal www.cbsenet.nic.in from today onwards as the Board had confirmed today’s date in an official notice. The exam will be held at over 1000 centers spread across 90 cities.
The online applications for CBSE NET 2017 were submitted from October 17 to November 23, while the candidates were given facility to correct the particulars in the application form till December 3. After scrutinising the applications thus received, the CBSE would issue the admit card/ hall tickets to all eligible candidates.
CBSE NET admit card is accessible at the official website and the candidates must fetch their respective cards as soon as possible to avoid any delay. This further gives the candidates much required time in case there is any discrepancy in the particulars mentioned in the admit card. The admit card can be accessed by using application number received at the time of filling application.

CBSE NET will consist of three papers to be held in three separate shifts on the same day. The candidates scoring minimum qualifying marks in each paper will be listed in order of decreasing combined score. Two merit lists – subject-wise and category-wise will be prepared by the Board, from which top 15 percent candidates (for each subject and category) will be declared NET qualified.
The National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or for determining the eligibility of candidates for appointment as Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges across the Country. CBSE NET covers 84 subjects in total.
