Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) had conducted All India Senior School Certificate Examinations in March-April 2017 and is expected to announce the result of it’s class 12 board examinations on May 24.
CBSE 12th result 2017 will be published online at the official CBSE portals www.cbse.nic.in and www.cbseresults.nic.in. For whole past week, media reports have been penning that CBSE result of class 12 will be out on May 24 and whereas there has been no official statements form the side of CBSE board officials, it’s about time that results do get announced. In 2016, CBSE had declared the class 12 results on the morning of May 21, well before the scheduled date of May 24. But this year, it’s another story as nothing official has been notified about CBSE result 2017.
CBSE usually declares the XII results within the time frame (May 20-25) so as to keep up with admission process to undergraduate institutions. Most of the entrance exam results are already out or are underway and admission process is about to commence for the academic session starting in 2017.
CBSE class 12th results 2017 are awaited by over 11 lakh students who appeared for these higher secondary examinations earlier this year. CBSE class 12 board exams spanned over 51 days and were held from March 09, 2017 to April 29, 2017. The board which came into establishment in 1952, currently has jurisdiction over 18,694 schools in India, and 211 schools abroad in 25 foreign countries. Of total schools in India, 1,117 are KVs, 2,720 are government/aided, 14,253 private, 590 JNVs and 14 are central Tibetan schools. The board is headquartered but has 10 regional centres across the country, namely Allahabad, Bhubaneswar, Ajmer, Dehradun, Chennai, Guwahati, Delhi, Patna, Panchkula and Thiruvananthapuram.
CBSE is expected to declare class 12 results of all regions at once. The board had done so for two consecutive years in 2015 and 2016 and is expected to follow the pattern here this year too. Here’s the highlights of previous years’ as per CBSE’s data.
