Calicut University Degree Allotment 2016| UG CAP First Seat Allotment Result

Update on 23 June, 2016: Calicut University degree allotment 2016, Calicut University first allotment result and Calicut University UG CAP allotment is being published today on 23 June, at time 11 AM on portal for registered candidates.

Calicut University has published trial allotment results for degree allotment 2016 on admissions to seats of UG courses. The trial allotment result was declared yesterday night on 17th June and is now available at or directly at www.ugcap. by logging under candidate’s login area.

Earlier, Calicut University trial degree allotment 2016 for UG admissions was likely going to be released on June 09 as per the schedule notified. The University is publishing the trial allotment list today while the first real allotment will be published on 16th June.

Calicut University trial allotment will be displayed at for candidates who had registered online for getting admission into undergraduate course in the University. Once released, candidates will be able to check the allotment under the candidate’s login, using their respective details.

calicut universityCalicut University facilitates admissions into it’s UG & PG courses through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) under which the complete admission process is taken online. The online applications were invited by the University starting from 18 May to 31 May 2016. Thousands of aspirants had registered to get seat in their sought after course.

The candidates had already set their college preference but they’ll be given another chance to re-arrange their options between 8th June to 10th June after the trial allotment is published.

Calicut University runs trial allotment to give candidates an idea of the process. The seats are to be allocated only in the first real allotment that is due declaration on 16th June 2016. The timing has not been specified by the University but expect the trial allotment today in the afternoon. The process to admission will begin only after first allotment.

The seats will be allotted to the candidates who had registered using CAP. Allotments to the seats in all courses under the merit/reservation quota is conducted through Centralised Admission Process and is based on the rank of the candidate and availability of seats.

A total of five allotments made to Aided, Government colleges and Un-Aided colleges and special allotments are conducted by University after collecting the vacancy position in each category of eats from the colleges.
