Calicut University has published UG CAP second allotment 2016 today. First degree allotment for undergraduate admissions in Calicut University was published on June 23. calicut university second allotmentThe university had rescheduled the entire process of degree allotment and finally the trial allotment results were declared on June 17, following which the varsity released first allotment results on June 23.

Students can access Calicut University Second Allotment by using their +2/12th registration number and unique Cap ID the varsity had provided at the time of registration. The online registration for Calicut University CAP were done from May 18 to 31 in which thousands of aspirants took part so as to get admission in the undergraduate courses offered by the university.

The registered students had their chance to alter the preferences of college/course as the trial allotment was published. Calicut University is conducting the centralised admission process for admissions in government, aided and un-aided colleges.

Calicut University has launched dedicated portals to facilitate the centralised admission process, but in this span of time, these web portals have faced serious technical glitches which have turned as a nightmare for students. With such a huge responsibility, the varsity should have prepared itself and made its websites capable to holding huge traffics.

Calicut University is the largest university in Kerala with as much as 373 affiliated colleges having annual intake of around 1,00,000 students. Of these, 102 are located in Kozhikode district, 83 in Thrissur, 106 in Malappuram, 68 in Palakkad and 14 in Wayanad.
