CA CPT June 2015 Exam Analysis: Results Expected in July 2nd Week

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has concluded the CPT-June 2015 exam today. The exam was taken in two shifts, morning (10.30 am to 12.30 pm) and afternoon (2 pm to 4 pm) across 164 cities in India and Abudhabi, Dubai & Kathmadu.

The CA Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is divided in four sections/papers, namely, Fundamental of Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude. The test is one of the toughest exam organized in the Country and every year lakhs of CA aspirants write the exam for admission to CA courses. The registrations for this examination were started in April till May beginning while admit cards for CPT June 2015 were issued in May.

CA CPT exam is conducted twice in a year, June and December and qualified candidates make their way to enter in the area of Chartered Accountancy. Maximum marks for Fundamental of Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude are 60, 40, 50 and 50 respectively. From the year 2013, ICAI notified that candidates must score a minimum of 30 percent marks in each section and a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate of all sections. The cut offs for each section is 18, 12, 15 & 15 in the same order.

ICAI will not publish the answer keys of CA CPT 2015 exam, however the same will be prepared and published by some major coaching institutes to help out the students.

ICAI will announce the results of CPT June-2015 exam within one month, candidates can expect the declaration of CPT result in the second week of July.
