BSTC 2017 college allotment letter released

The college allotment for BSTC 2017 has been declared and the candidates can now download their allotment letter from the BSTC website: www.bstc2017.com or www.bstc2017.org. This BSTC college allotment 2017 is for the first round of counselling result and more rounds will follow.

The first BSTC College Allotment for 2017 admissions was scheduled to be declared on 4th July. Initially, the declaration of first allotment result was scheduled for June 29, but on June 26, an official notice was issued by BSTC 2017 Convener announcing the change in the dates. The candidates registered for the online counselling can check BSTC first College allotment result from the official website www.bstc2017.com & www.bstc2017.org.

The University of Kota had conducted Pre-BSTC (Basic School Training Certificate) entrance exam on the behalf of State government. The BSTC 2017 entrance exam was held on April 30 for which nearly 5 lakh candidates had applied. The results of the entrance test were announced on June 3, but the cut-off marks were not revealed. On June 14, the University notified the commencement of BSTC 2017 counselling for admissions to D.El.Ed. course.

There are total 18,250 seats available under BSTC General course offered in 292 colleges. Also, there are 1,220 seats in 16 colleges for BSTC Sanskrit course. As per the counselling procedure, the allotment of college is to be done on the basis of choices filled by the candidates, category of candidate, marks of entrance test and availability of seats.

The online registration for counselling started on June 15 and closed on June 30, after an extension of 4 days. Meanwhile, the applicants were given time till July 2 for filling choices of colleges. As per the revised schedule, BSTC First College Allotment result will be declared on June 4 and the candidates will be given 10 days time to report to the allotted college.

After the declaration of BSTC College Allotment result, the candidates should login to the official website to check the College allotment status. If allotted, one should take the print out of bank chalan copy and pay the remaining fee at ICICI Bank Branch. After the payment of fee, the candidates will have to report to the allotted college with printed copy of application form and other documents. The fee can be paid till July 13, while the last date to report is June 14.

The list of documents to be carried while reporting includes receipts of registration fee and balance fee payment, education certificates, domicile certificate, category certificate. The candidates will have to carry the documents in original and two self-attested copies along with two passport size photographs. The candidates will be given two days (16 & 17 July) to apply for upward movement in College allotment.
