The BSTC 2017 admit card has been uploaded at the official website as the examination is scheduled to be held on April 30. Somewhere around 4-5 lakh aspirants take the exam every year for admissions in the Diploma course in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) under BSTC General and BSTC Sanskrit. There are around 16 thousand seats on offer at 32 government and 251 private colleges.
Kota University was given the authorization to hold BSTC (Basic School Teaching Certificate) exam this year and the university notified Pre BSTC (D.El.Ed.) Examination 2017 on February 13. The online application process commenced on February 14 and after an extension of around 26 days, the process wrapped on March 28. The exam will be held on April 30 in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The BSTC 2017 admit card was supposed to be uploaded on the official website (www.bstc2017.org or www.bstc2017.com) on April 23, however, making some changes, the admit cards were uploaded on April 21, two days ahead of the schedule. An official notice undersigned by BSTC Coordinator Prof. Rajiv Jain was put up on the official website which states that the admit cards have been uploaded on April 21 for all those applicants who have submitted the application fee.
The notice further reads that the admit cards can be accessed from the Admit Card link by entering required details. The candidates must carry the BSTC admit card on the exam day. The candidates have been asked to report at least half an hour prior to the exam timing.
If one has paid the application fee, however, is unable to access the admit card, he/she must inform the BSTC office through the helpline numbers. The helpline number of BSTC 2017 office are: 9672593256, 9649048602.
The BSTC 2017 admit card download link, which was inaccessible till now, has been updated by the university. The applicants can download BSTC admit card either by using Form number/ Token number/ roll number/ mobile number or by entering their general details. The applicants can select any of the five methods to download their admit card.
BSTC 2017 exam will comprise of 200 multiple choice questions divided among four sections. Section A (Mental Ability); Section B (General Awareness of Rajasthan) and Section 3 (Teaching Aptitude) will have 50 questions each. Section D will have three sub-sections in which English (20 questions) will be common for all candidates, while Hindi and Sanskrit will have 30 questions each. The candidates will have to attempt only one out of them as per their selected course.
Each question will carry 3 marks, hence the total marks will be calculated out of 200 marks. The candidates will be given a rank based on their performance in the written test.
